We play the blues, but also a wide selection of practically everything else… what we call the goods: rock, r&b, country, reggae and even jazz. Serving up a funky stew of classic roots music is what we love to do, at every opportunity, at any venue, for anyone who loves great music played well.
Blues and the Goods is: Kim Louise, Ed Gil-Gomez, Matt “The Reverend” Lavender, Guy Ropella, and Chris Schendel. We are all veterans of the LA and NY music scenes, and of numerous bands going back over decades. Roll over or touch our pics above to see who’s who and what’s what.
Since our first gig together, in April 2014, B&TG has stayed hard at work building a solid reputation in Southern California. Our eclectic, energetic band knows how to get a crowd moving, pleasing fans with our tight, danceable arrangements of songs old and new, some well known and some off the beaten path.
